Working Writers Series: Emotive Fruition

Emotive Fruition is a New York literary organization that brings poetry to life on stage, in schools, theaters, performance spaces, and places of healing. Emotive Fruition has collaborated with numerous arts organization, and was commissioned by WNYC’s Radiolab to solicit poems about elements for their Periodic Table episode.

At BMCC, Emotive Fruition presents, Every Day We Get More Illegal, a live performance of poetry written by some of New York’s most exciting Latinx poets performed on stage by a cast of film and stage actors. Stirring and provocative, these poems give voice to the Latinx spirit in an age of forced borders.
