Writing Center Workshop: How to Analyze A Poem

The Writing Center’s “How to Analyze Poems” workshop gives English students strategies on how to actively read a poetic text. Through a rhetorical lens, students will practice reading sample poems through the eyes of poets and poetry scholars in order to understand the rhetorical traits that make poetry writing different from other writing genres.
