Writing Center Workshop: Building your Vocabulary

Writing skills are essential to your success in both college and career. The BMCC Writing Center can help you improve your writing.

New school, new words! College can bombard students with words they never heard of. New words in your textbooks. New words spoken by your professor. New words everywhere. All of this can leave you confused.  In this workshop, students will embrace the search for definitions to words that are new or confusing. By the end of workshop, you’ll be ready to embrace the process of developing your vocabulary.
