We are delighted to extend to you this invitation to attend the XXII Modern Languages Department Colloquium, which will take place this year, 2019, Monday, March 11 and Tuesday 12 at Borough of Manhattan Community College. I hope you will join us in attending. You can find an overview of the Colloquium, the full program and the keynotes here.
The theme for the colloquium is: Who is the Monster? Human monstrosity in fiction and film.
On March 11, the students are welcomed at 9:30 a.m., followed by concurrent sessions at 9:35 a.m., remarks by the Interim President of Borough of Manhattan Community College, Karrin E. Wilks and Maria Enrico, Chair of Modern Languages Department, an enthusiastic lover of movies and books. Every day, will have three sets of movies (morning and afternoon sessions) in different languages.
