Youth Engagement Summit (YES)

The BMCC Student Government Association along with the Economics, Equality and Environment Club is hosting the Youth Engagement Summit (YES), a leadership conference to educate and motivate college students.

Guest speakers include:

• Max Rose, U.S. Representative
• Perla L. Liberato, Youth Organizer of Make the Road New York
• Douglas Israel, BMCC Director of Government Relations and Community Relations
• Sara Abouh, Member of the Sudanese Parliament and Associate Protection Officer with the U.N. Commission for Refugees

Breakfast and Lunch will be served.

Topics of discussion will include:

• Immigration Reform and Advocacy
• International Human Rights and Global Awareness
• Civic Engagement
• Lobbying Skills Workshop
