Sidney Askew

Professor S. Askew, CPA, MBA, is a Professor of Accounting at the City University of New York’s Borough of Manhattan Community College with a teaching and research focus in technological advancements in Accounting Information Systems (AIS). Professor Askew also specializes in research in ares of Financial Literacy. Sidney has served in several advisory roles such as President of the American Accounting Associations’ Two-Year College section and a member of Academic Executive Committee of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA). A member of several systems implementations, Sidney has worked in areas of public, corporate and regulatory accounting in government and private industry.
