Legacy gifts provide the fiscal strength and security to deliver college scholarships to our deserving students year after year. You don’t need to be a millionaire to give a gift with impact. Whether you’d like to donate hundreds, or hundreds of thousands, we make it easy and rewarding for you.
The most common legacy gifts are beneficiary designations of a retirement plan or life insurance policy, or bequests made in a will. There are many additional ways to make a difference, and our Office of Institutional Advancement will gladly work with you to find an option that is right for you. Many gifts provide immediate and valuable tax benefits and a secure income stream that lasts a lifetime.
When you make a planned gift to the BMCC Foundation, you become a member of The BMCC Legacy Society —a group of generous individuals committed to educational opportunity that lifts the fortunes of deserving students and improves their lives to the benefit of their families and communities. For these students their future is in our hands. Some donors wish to give anonymously. However, we would be pleased to discuss a legacy naming on the BMCC Donor Wall, or the naming of classrooms on campus.
