What are the requirements for successful completion of a workshop?
Course completion is determined as follows:
- In-person – Be on time and in the training for its entirety; this entails being present, seated, and not distracted by smart devices. Constructive participation is expected as well.
- Virtual – Be on time with video on for the entirety of the training; this entails being present, seated, and seen in video for the entire training with a professional background setting and little to no background noise and good lighting. Constructive participation is expected as well.
When are these workshops offered?
Trainings are conducted all four academic semesters (fall, winter, spring, and summer) and the dates/times will be promoted on our college’s calendar of events.
Are there prerequisites for these workshops?
There are no prerequisites
Are the courses open to any major?
They are open to any major, but will be of particular relevance to those studying education or health sciences.
Are these workshops in a particular department?
The workshops are a collaborative effort of the Early Childhood Center, Health Services, Public Safety, and Student Affairs.
