For Vice President • Independent
Dear Student Body,
“Students Empowering Students” As a BMCC IMPACT mentor, I learned how you could help, empower, and support others while becoming someone who understands and listens to before throwing my opinion on others. As a student at BMCC, I want the BMCC community to become a better and safer place. As someone who came from a different culture, background and country, I understand things better than anyone else. Therefore, my goal is to make BMCC a place where people define themselves as just “Humans,” not white, black, Asian, etc. I know we all are different from cultural and various perspectives, but we are the same in the depths. I don’t want hate in this generation. I will work to provide more opportunities for students.
As a Vice President, I will work to reach and help students. I will make sure the time I will serve is the time I make a positive impact on society and our BMCC community. I will make sure that we are being educated and becoming humans and leaving things like injustice and racism behind. Moreover, I will make sure that clubs get the funds they need after discussing with my team. Also, I will make sure to listen to the students so that I can know of their issues and problems while providing solutions. Further, I will make sure that students will get to know about all of the opportunities and with my team I will make sure to work for everyone equally.
I believe I have the capability and skills to become the “Vice President “of this great community. I am organized, punctual, and always ready to learn new skills. I will work hard and smart to complete the things I start and assign to on time. Further, this position will give me a chance to serve the community and improve my skills. I am ready for this!
Sincerely,
Rajvinder Kaur
