For Secretary • Roaring Panthers
Hello Student Body,
I’m Shatisha Bryant. I am majoring in Communication Studies and this is my second semester at BMCC. Last semester I was a mentee in IMPACT and now I am a mentor. I also frequently participate in The Theater Department showcases and The Women’s Resource Center workshops. I am running for Secretary because I know that I can actively take notes for each general, executive, and special meeting as well as successfully distribute written information to all appropriate parties. It will also support me in gaining and strengthening my proficiency in communications.
I aspire to always challenge myself and to be a beacon of light and hope for others. I want to be an example that you can always rewrite your story as long as you have breath in your body. I am 35 years old and a single mother to a toddler. I do understand the various obstacles life can place you in, but your story isn’t over. I am proud to be a student at BMCC. I want the opportunity to represent that pride by being Secretary of the Student Government Association.
