Study Abroad Programs
BMCC encourages faculty to get involved in the College’s international initiatives. Faculty can apply to lead a study abroad course to the country of their choice. Learn more about leading an existing study abroad program or proposing a new one.
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
Faculty may also participate in Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). COIL facilitates a virtual exchange between a BMCC classroom and a college or university abroad. Collaborative Online International Learning can be used as part of an existing course and does not need to be used for the whole semester–a minimum of four weeks is recommended. Faculty can be part of the BMCC COIL Cohort and participate in a series of workshops to prepare a COIL project for their selected course. Learn more about COIL.
