Study Abroad Mexico

LAT 475 – 3 credits, 3 hours

Location: Oaxaca, Mexico

Selected BMCC study abroad programs travel in the summer. 

Taught in English, BMCC’s Study Abroad in Mexico program gives students the opportunity to explore social and cultural issues in Mexico through art, migration, language and gastronomy. Students will also learn about family, identity, economic development and environmental issues.

Program Fee: TBD (includes international airfare, health insurance, and program-related transportation in Mexico, excursions, housing and three meals per day) BMCC 60% SCHOLARSHIP is included in price.  Additional scholarship funds may be available for this program.

Additional Costs: BMCC tuition and fees for 3 credits, as well as out-of-pocket costs for personal expenses, visa, tips, and out-of-pocket meals.  Optional side trips to local tourist attractions may also incur additional costs.

Prerequisite: ENG 088, ESL 062, ACR 094, or completion of a higher-level course
