French Heritage
FRN 476 – 3 credits, 3 hours
Location: Montreal, Canada
Selected BMCC study abroad programs travel in the summer.
This program is designed for intermediate and advanced-level French students. Students will enhance their knowledge of French and Francophone language and culture through class meetings, seminars, and an experiential component which includes visits to sites of historic and cultural importance such as Québec City and typical farming centers.
Program Fee: TBD (includes international airfare, health insurance, and program-related transportation in Canada, excursions, housing and three meals per day) BMCC 60% SCHOLARSHIP is included in price. Additional scholarship funds may be available for this program.
Additional Costs: BMCC tuition and fees for 3 credits, as well as out-of-pocket costs for personal expenses, visa, tips, and out-of-pocket meals. Optional side trips to local tourist attractions may also incur additional costs.
Prerequisite: FRN 106 or above, or proficiency in FRN 106 as determined by the Modern Languages Department placement test plus at least three credits in a foreign language taught at CUNY
