BMCC Study Abroad Programs expand students’ educational experience, foster multicultural understanding and encourage the exchange of knowledge about global relations, economies, histories and cultures. This experience also enhances skills that students’ are able to apply in the diverse and fast-changing 21st-century workplace.
For summer 2022, students may consider CIEE or other CUNY study abroad programs. BMCC study abroad programs will not be offered this summer. CUNY requires that all study abroad participants be vaccinated.
What is study abroad?
Study abroad is a form of experiential learning that allows students to earn academic credit outside of the traditional classroom setting. BMCC has traveled around the world with professors leading small groups of students to teach their course, and engage with various cultures and communities. Courses may be taught in English or the local language. They are open to all majors. Eligible students receive the BMCC Association Scholarship to help fund this opportunity. Get started here.
