Events and Space Reservations

COVID-19 Safety Information

Borough of Manhattan Office of Events and Space Reservations strictly adheres to CUNY and BMCC’s COVID-19 safety protocol. Please read the below carefully.

All visitors are required to submit one of the two documents listed below to be granted building access:

  • Proof of Full Vaccination
  • Negative PCR COVID Test Results dated within 7 days of the entry request.

These documents must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the event via the CUNY Cleared4 Vaccine Verification System. Once the documents have been reviewed and confirmed, an access granted email (Green Token) will be sent to each visitor – this email must be presented (along with an ID card) to Public Safety upon entrance to the event/meeting.

Mask Mandate Lifted

The mask policy is subject to modification based on changing vaccination statistics and coronavirus transmission rates. In response to revised guidance issued by the CDC last week, we are lifting the temporary mask mandate that has been in place since August 2021 and required all CUNY students, faculty, staff and visitors to wear masks inside University campuses, office buildings, classrooms and other non-enclosed spaces. This policy change, which takes effect on Monday, March 7, follows recent announcements by Governor Hochul and Mayor Adams that ended mask mandates for pre-K through 12th grade schools across New York State and City. Anyone who would like to continue wearing masks in any setting is welcome to do so at any time. Masks will continue to be available on campus and offices for people who want them.

BMCC’s Office of Events and Space Reservations helps cultivate the college’s connection with New York City’s vibrant community, by welcoming civic organizations, non-profit groups and businesses of all sizes to host their events on our campus.

Special events become even more special when you host them at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
