NYC Emergency Management (NYC OEM) coordinating agency for the City of New York. The agency plans and prepares for emergencies, educates the public about preparedness, coordinates emergency response and recovery, and collects and disseminates emergency information.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) provides up-to-date information about New York City’s mass transit system, which includes subways and buses.

The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) provides information about local bridges, tunnels, streets, sidewalks, and highways.

The Alliance for Downtown New York works to enhance the quality of life in Lower Manhattan. The website provides information about local transportation and public safety.
