Make sure you are covered financially if you get sick or need to see the doctor. The Advocacy and Resource Center at BMCC assists students in enrolling for health insurance. This includes access to health insurance plans on the NY State of Health Marketplace as well as Medicaid coverage.
Health insurance in New York State is available to international students as well as those with undocumented immigration status.
Our healthcare navigators will screen students for the appropriate plan based on income which is some cases may be free or as low as $20.00 per month under the new Essential Plan option.
