We welcome students, faculty and staff to use our nurturing environments designed to help you transition back to school and/or work while nursing, chest feeding, pumping, etc. Appointment/Reservations are required. For more information, please review the CUNY Lactation Policy.
Alternative lactation space is offered in the Health Services Offices. They can be contacted at (212) 220-8157, Room N-380.

Building Hours: 7 Days a week 6:30 a.m.-11:59 p.m.
Staffed Lactation Room Hours: Monday – Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

How to make an appointment

– Fill Name
– Email
– CUNY ID
– Phone Number
– Location(s) you would like to reserve
– Specific date(s)/range and time(s) you are requesting - The WRC will confirm your appointment/reservation via email with details and next steps.
Please Note:
- Appointments can be one time or recurring in 30 minute intervals
- Reservation requests should be made a minimum of 1 business day before your desired reservation date(s)/time(s)
- Requests not made within that time frame are not guaranteed
- For cancellations or rescheduling, please contact the WRC immediately
Before/After Hours and Weekend Appointments
Follow steps 1-3. The WRC will share your appointment request with Public Safety to coordinate access to the space and will contact you to confirm you appointments.
General Information
- Lactation Rooms contain a rocking chair, electrical outlets, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and literature
- There is NO refrigeration available for breast milk pumped. Please bring an appropriate travel bag for the expressed milk
- Users must sign in and out on the attendance sheet and use the provided “Do Not Disturb” sign
- Cleanliness is important, please clean up and dispose of any used materials in the waste receptacle provided
