Math/STEM Student Activities

math lounge meeting

BMCC provides math students with many opportunities to enhance their studies. The following programs are some of the ways you can make the most of your math experience while at BMCC and explore future possibilities.

Research/Internship Opportunities

At BMCC, there are opportunities for students to work on a mathematical research project with a faculty mentor. The Office of Internships and Experiential Learning has a number of internships opportunities for math majors or students with strong mathematics skills.

Math Team

The BMCC Math Team works on challenging, fun problems and competes against other two-year-colleges in the AMATYC Student Math League.

Math Lounge

The Math Lounge is an opportunity for math-oriented students and professors to mingle, discuss mathematics, research and career possibilities. Upcoming Math Lounge meetings will be posted in the BMCC Events Calendar.

Math Club

The Math Club was established in 2009 by a group of passionate professors and mathematics major students. The goal they set was to foster a love for mathematics and help students thrive in their math classes.
