The National Science Foundation seeks applications for the Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace announcement to protect and preserve the growing social and economic benefits of cybersystems while ensuring security and privacy. Funds: $68 million total for awards ranging from $50,000 to $10 million. NSF said six areas are critical to successful cybersecurity research and development: scientific foundations, risk management, human aspects, transitioning successful research into practice, workforce development and enhancing the research infrastructure.
